Amendments and additions to articles of the Public-Private Partnerships Law

Presidential Decree 111/21, of April 29, is so far the only amendment to the PPP Regulations, including the addition of an important new issue. In essence, the Regulation is maintained, with detailed changes such as the modification of the composition of the “Public-Private Partnership Governance Body” and the admission of structuring PPPs based on public investment project contracts whose execution has been suspended for reasons of financial restriction of the contracting public entity. The substantive amendment takes the form of an addendum, with the PPP Law Regulation now dealing with unsolicited proposals, admitting them and regulating them.
